Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the FTV Mold Inspection website and the mold removal services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
Service Agreement
All mold inspection and remediation services provided by FTV Mold Inspection are performed pursuant to a written service agreement or estimate. This document will specify the scope of work, pricing, payment terms, warranties, and other specific conditions. The service agreement supersedes any prior communications or understandings and constitutes the entire agreement between you and FTV Mold Inspection.
Estimates and Pricing
Provided estimates are based on a visual inspection and are subject to change if hidden conditions are discovered after work commences, such as mold behind walls or under flooring. Any such changes will be communicated to you promptly with a revised estimate for approval before proceeding. All prices are in US dollars.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in your service agreement. Typically, a deposit may be required to schedule work, with the balance due upon satisfactory completion. We accept major credit cards, checks, and bank transfers. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as specified in the agreement.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled service, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less notice may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover scheduled labor and equipment costs. We reserve the right to cancel service due to unsafe conditions or non-payment.
Warranty and Limitations
FTV Mold Inspection warrants that all services will be performed in a workmanlike manner per industry standards. Our warranty covers the work performed but does not cover new mold growth resulting from new moisture intrusion, failure to follow our post-remediation recommendations, or acts outside our control. Specific warranty details are provided in your service agreement.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide safe and clear access to the work area, disclose any known hazards, secure pets, and move small items as requested. You are responsible for ensuring the information you provide about the property is accurate. Failure to fulfill these responsibilities may result in delays or additional charges.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FTV Mold Inspection's liability for any claim arising from our services shall be limited to the amount paid for those specific services. We shall not be liable for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of use of property, business interruption, or personal injury claims unrelated to our negligence.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FTV Mold Inspection, its officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your negligence, or your failure to disclose relevant property conditions that impact the safety or scope of our work.
Intellectual Property
All content on the ftvmoldinspection.com website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of FTV Mold Inspection or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the state in which FTV Mold Inspection's principal place of business is located. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, the dispute may be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
Changes to Terms
FTV Mold Inspection reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will post revised terms on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after such posting constitutes your acceptance of the changes. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
